Baby Madeleine Grace Nicholls Makes an Entrance!

Simes and I are incredibly proud to introduce you to baby Madeleine Grace Nicholls. She was born at 10.40am on Tuesday October 31st, 2006 weighing 8lbs 4oz after a very long labour. She was lucky enough to be delivered the old fashioned way (and boy does mummy have the stitches to prove it!) and without any drugs thanks to her amazingly supportive daddy. Simes has been truly wonderful throughout the entire pregnacy and judging by the way he and Maddy have bonded, there is no doubt that he is going to be the worlds greatest dad too.

All the grandparents were in London to greet her and they have showered us with their love and support, which has been a life saver.

Madeleine is positively beautiful and apart from the sleepless nights, her daddy and I have never been happier or more in love.

Sincere thanks to everyone for your kind wishes and gorgeous cards and gifts. We will be in touch with you all once we are back in the land of the living.

Here are a couple of pics of the little lady. Enjoy.

Love to you all xxxx

When the first baby laughed for the first time, the laugh broke into a thousand pieces and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies.

I'm so pissed off - I just wrote a really long and lovely note and its been deleted.

Start again.

Who would have thought the world would get to see another Mad Piklz! Well, "Here's Maddy!"

And isn't she just a picture hanging off her Mum's boob. Just send round National Geographic why don't you?

I'm absolutely thrilled for both of you and by the sounds of your blog Smiffie so are you two. I wanted to be able to congratulate you on the phone but the bubs had other ideas and whisked you back to hop-is-tal. So if you hold out your arms (go on, do it!) then you'll get this big massive hug and kiss from me and Tara in Oz and you can pass on a little smacker to Mads, on her ickle head.

Mis you both (oops) all 3 of you like crazy and can't wait until we drop in on you in March to do it all in person - lots and lots and lots of hugs and love from Yogi and Tara.
